It’s 10 times harder to create a vision of what you want than you don’t want.
That’s where the anti-vision comes into play.
This exercise will filter what you say yes to in the future. Even if you feel like you know your exact vision for life, I’ve found that very few people have ever filled out an anti-vision for themselves.
This is one of the first exercises I execute with my students, regardless of their stage, income, or goals.
The exercise is simple…
Write down everything you know you don’t want in your dream life. Include it all. And before you ask, yes, this can change over time. Your life will look different as you progress through its decades.
The anti-vision exercise should be something you visit at least once a year, but more often is encouraged.
